THINGS TO DO IN UMBRIA AND TUSCANY

TUORO

Tuoro is a small and quite village, in the 217 b.C. it took place a big battle between Romans and Cartaginians where the famous cartaginian general Annibal defeated his enemy. In all the town there are many sposts to relive the moments of the battle. If you want to have a special experience, get the ferry boat to Isola Maggiore; the famous Saint Francis spent a part of his life there!
